He is the first spider man who didn t want his powers. He had to make a choice and sacrifice his desire to be a normal kid to accept the spider man role thay life gave him. I think kts a way more relatable version of spiderman as a teen myself because peter parker, even tho he was also bitten a 15, accepted his role pretty quickly and became insanely bold almlst instantly due to his power but I think of something lkke that happened to an actual 15 biy the reaction would be wayy more complex than that (like miles' i mean)

Also I love the fact that he is representing the fact of going against the rules that dont make sense for us and standing for our values and the things we think matter. He refuses to follow old rules just because they exists , admittedly by stubbornness but mostly because he truly believes

Because if you look at it , in the second movie, his mom t the start of the movie reminds him that wherever he goes he should never let people think he doesnt belong there (extract gwen meets miles parents) and this exact thing happen when he enters spider society.

. Back in 2023 ,when I first saw the two movies ( i am like SUBSCRIBED to arriving late on fandoms) i was in a period where i really had lost myself, 13 as a girl is suchh a canon event, u try to fit in, to be less 'weird' more normal, more like evryone, u try to let fo of parts of yourself because it makes you feel too different... And i think this is why it resonated so loud with me at this period of my life. I had heard a bit abt these movies, when i finally gave them a try, so i borrowed the dvd s from the mediatheque, and pressed play on my obsolete lenco dvd player. The first one felt like a seed in my heart that started to germ again.

I think his parents are alsl really well written characters, wether in the comics or in the films. Like they are kinda relatable to black and latino parents (and i ai t sayin that black and hispanic ppl have to "act" a certain way to be real black ppl or real latink, just sayin that for a big part,there are things that most do and often dont have the same educating ways as white parents (from what i saw (im black btw) )which ks totally normal because of the difderences of cultures ) and they didn't try to whitewash them , neither to make them exactly fit in stereotypes) .

They show us a succesful and balanced bkracial couple on which miles cam count
They managed to make him smart , emotionnally intelligent ,whitout taking off this funny, clumsy almlst endearing side of spiderman and still keeping him pretty accurate and relatable for a teen(and for everyone else). He navigates through life despite the difficulties and just want to find a place to belong in, but without noticing it, he starts gathering the right people around him by finally stayin true to himself (see Hobie Brown)

I love how the quantum theory is used in this story. For once it actually has a sense and its not givin 'we didnt have a reason so uhh quantum physics'. It is basing itself on the many world's theory of everett which i personnaly dont believe in because it would make too many possibilities at once and like where would the matter come.from like? I mean idk, but i have to do more research on that. Anyways

• Miles in himself is a proff of what he wants to do with tryin breaking the rules to do what he thinks is good ( savin his dad and still savin everyone else) Indeed, he wasnt even supposed to be spiderman in the first place , if we take ot logically, In the forst movie, when he meets the spider man peter parker, his cohlirs are purple and green, the prowler's colors. But as they both stare, tryin to fighre.ojt eavh kther, hia coulohs change slowly tk red and blue, spierman s colours. It shows that he was supposed to become the prowler, but meeting peter parker changed his 'destiny'programmed by the spider verse, givin him a chance to choose between gokd and bad.


• Okay i mightttt be delusional but im tellin u there was somethin goin kn with margo kess aka spider byte . They clicked real quick and he said later as if they really planned to talk more often in the future. Plus, she s the one who decided not to press the buttln to stop him from going back 'home' (i know she realized too late it wasnt his universe he was goin to but still , stoppin him would have ended any possibility for him to save his dad so) and at the end of the movie , in gwens squad she is oresent, so i really hope they can show more lf her character in beyond bcs from.what i saw in the comics she a real cool girl and id like to knlw more abt her)


• Universe 42 is not connected to the spider verse because there was never a spiderman here, tis why it didnt get destructed, so other spiser ppl xant go there, so i think m and m's are gonna have to collaborate or smn cuz i dont see glitvhing 1610 miles fighting with his older self and winning like that and also Hobie is obviously gonna help him


• Ganke actin weird when in the comics (other universes) very supportive and stuff , showin sumn really wrong with this universe
